During a two-minute and fifteen-second match, two alliances, consisting of three robots each, will throw balls over a five-foot truss, catch balls launched over the truss and score in high and low goals on the far side of the field. Alliances receive bonus points for "assists", which are earned for passing the ball as they drive down the field toward the goals.

During a two-minute and fifteen-second match, two alliances, consisting of three robots each, competed on a flat 27 x 54 foot field scoring as many frisbee discs into their goals as they could. Additional points were awarded for the highest level achieved for every alliance robot that was able to climb its pyramid!
